The Infrared Thermometer is a compact, easy-to-use tool used by both building inspectors and flooring professionals. It provides non-contact temperature measurement at varying work distances, high accuracy, and a wide measuring range.
Building inspectors find the Infrared Thermometer, or IR Thermometer, handy for measuring drafts and insulation breakdown. They can pick up hot spots in electrical systems and bearings, gauge the temperature of a home or building’s heating system, like a hot water heater or furnace, and monitor cooling systems such as cold air leaks around HVAC systems.
